It hurts me to say it as well, but I’m ending Salt ‘n’ Pepper. The comic is taking a toll on me, and my day work is also pinning whatever time I have left too. I might revive it in future, have plans for it or something. But for now, its closed.
Thanks to whoever gave me support these past 6 months. I thank you sincerely for your thoughts and well wishes, but I can’t keep it up any longer. So for now, Salt ‘n’ Pepper bids goodbye.
Well folks, I’m back, and safe. The Red Shirts didn’t pose much of a problem, so its fairly safe. Sort of. They only protest on weekends and so it wasn’t much of a show, too.
I will probably be doing up a few strips about my trip, so bear with me if I take this comic as a sketch diary. =X
Hey all. I’ve been thinking long, and hard, about how I would like to direct Salt ‘n’ Pepper in the near future. It took sheer willpower, time and hairs to get this comic out, and readers have been helpful with comments and criticisms.
There won’t be comics next week, since I’ll be away the whole of next week in Bangkok. There’s riots going on there, but I’ve planned this since forever, and its going to take more than a riot to keep me away. I’ll be on a retreat, probably ponder how to pull Salt n Pepper off in a more majestic way. In any case, no comics. Sorry folks.
It’s great to have you guys reading my comics. I hope what I will plan in future will wow you more, if you weren’t wow-ed enough.
Apologies to fans, but I really am swamped. Been flooded by work recently, plus with a holiday, it took a serious toll on my schedule. Today’s comic won’t be pumped out in time. But! I won’t disappoint. Stay tuned folks.
Its strange that it brushed my mind, but its something related to today’s comic.
We all are victims of what society demands of us. Women who took up jobs are forced to look at the world in a logical manner, while suppressing their emotional senses. So when emotion and logic conflict, you get women of today. Its not a fault, its a result. And we created it, through all the stereotypes and social pressures we have created.
Oh yeah, I have serious issues towards education, which i see as a placebo in our competitive society. How can we blame world of warcraft when we ARE living in a world of placebos?
Yes, I’ve axed Rin’s legs, a horrible pun there. But Rin won’t get to wear heels for a while, since I had valuable feedback that they are more unique and cuter with that level of abstraction.
Still being bogged down by work. It’s starting to pile mysteriously.
Today’s comic was a sudden moment of epiphany: Are we caring enough? Sorry if it was a little melodramatic, but it was a moment that struck home.
So for all of you who are arguing with your loved ones, kiss and make up. Fast. There are idiots with the switches to nukes and we won’t know who will elbow the switches. Don’t wait till a nuclear fire razes the last chance to say your heart felt thoughts.
Orighty, time to sort out my schedule, and make more funnies. I’ll make Friday funnier, I swear.
Oh yeah, and I love you all, you people who read my posts.
